These programmes include, the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), the Master of Arts in Defence and Security Studies (MADSS), Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management, the Master of Arts in Communication for Development (MCD), Diploma in Defence and Security Studies and the Diploma in Intelligence and Security Studies. In addition, the School also offers tailor-made short courses in Monitoring and Evaluation on a regular basis. The School was created to contribute to national human resource capacity building in a broad-range of social science and humanities disciplines. The School has eleven departments, namely: Development Studies, Economics, Gender Studies, Historical and Archaeological Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Literature and Languages, Philosophy and Applied Ethics, Political and Administrative Studies, Population Studies, Psychology, and Sociology and Social Work.
